Wastewater Systems Laborer/ Installation Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hard‑working Laborer to support our wastewater repair and installation team. This role is 100% wastewater‑industry focused — assisting with system repairs, component replacements, installation work, and job‑site preparation related to residential and commercial wastewater systems.

This is a physically demanding field position with minimal customer interaction, working directly alongside our technicians and other contractors. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑minded, and able to adapt to a fluid daily schedule based on job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with wastewater system repairs, component replacements, and installation projects
• Perform labor tasks such as digging, trenching, backfilling, moving materials, and site cleanup
• Support job‑site setup including tools, equipment, and materials staging
• Work around septic tanks, pumps, distribution boxes, leach fields, and related wastewater components
• Follow all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and company procedures
• Operate basic hand tools and job‑site equipment
• Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Coordinate with technicians and contractors to keep projects moving efficiently
• Adapt to changing schedules, job locations, and daily assignments

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working around wastewater systems, excavation areas, and job‑site hazards
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Willingness to work a flexible, fluid schedule based on project needs
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or small equipment preferred but not required
• Experience in wastewater, septic, excavation, or related field labor preferred but not required
• Experience supporting tradespeople or contractors on job sites preferred but not required

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
