Wastewater Treatment Technician (2nd Shift)

Position Summary

Power Brace Manufacturing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wastewater Treatment Technician to operate and monitor our industrial wastewater treatment system during the second shift. This position is responsible for performing routine water quality testing, monitoring chemical treatment processes, collecting samples, maintaining records, and ensuring the treatment system operates in compliance with company procedures and environmental requirements.

Prior wastewater treatment experience is not required. We will train the right candidate. Individuals with chemistry, manufacturing, laboratory, plating, food processing, agriculture, water treatment, or other chemical handling experience are encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor operation of industrial wastewater treatment equipment.
• Add and adjust treatment chemicals in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform routine laboratory testing and basic chemical analyses.
• Conduct titrations and record test results using established SOPs.
• Collect wastewater samples as required.
• Monitor pH, chemical concentrations, tank levels, pumps, and treatment equipment.
• Maintain accurate treatment logs and inspection records.
• Identify abnormal operating conditions and notify management as needed.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance of the treatment area.
• Safely handle treatment chemicals and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with waste handling and disposal activities.
• Support environmental compliance efforts and recordkeeping requirements.
• Cross-train with other production and maintenance personnel as needed.

Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work independently.
• Ability to accurately record measurements and observations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Preferred

• Experience working with chemicals.
• Manufacturing, laboratory, water treatment, plating, food processing, agriculture, or maintenance background.
• Familiarity with pH testing, titrations, pumps, or fluid systems.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
