WATCHMAN

About the Role

We are seeking a vigilant, reliable, and trustworthy Watchman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and securing our assigned property, managing access control, conducting regular security walks, and ensuring the safety of residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points; verify visitor identities, log contractor/vendor entries, and control vehicle access.
• Patrolling & Inspections: Conduct regular floor-by-floor and perimeter patrols to inspect doors, locks, windows, lights, and common areas.
• Property Safety: Monitor CCTV surveillance cameras (if applicable) and report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or unauthorized individuals immediately.
• Facility Support: Maintain a basic logbook of daily activities, visitor details, and incoming packages/deliveries.
• Emergency Response: Assist in emergency situations (e.g., fire alarms, power outages, water leaks) by following company safety procedures and guiding occupants safely.
• Customer Service: Act as a courteous point of contact for occupants, residents, and visitors while maintaining professional standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience as a watchman, building guard, concierge, or security personnel preferred.
• Certification: SIRA / DPS certification or local security license is a strong plus (if applicable).
• Languages: Basic conversational English required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical patrols over extended shifts.
• Key Attributes: Alert, honest, punctual, and able to remain calm under pressure.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,200.00 per month
