Watchman Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Watchman Supervisor to oversee and manage a team of watchmen and ensure the safety, security, cleanliness, and proper operation of the assigned buildings and premises.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience supervising watchmen/security staff, good knowledge of building operations and maintenance, and a valid UAE driving license. The candidate should be proactive, reliable, and capable of handling day-to-day issues independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, and coordinate the daily duties and schedules of watchmen.
• Ensure that watchmen are properly positioned at their assigned areas and carrying out their duties effectively.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, uniforms, conduct, and overall performance of watchmen.
• Conduct regular inspections of the building, common areas, entrances, parking areas, service areas, and surrounding premises.
• Ensure that building security procedures and access-control requirements are properly followed.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activities, incidents, damages, safety hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Coordinate with building management regarding maintenance issues, security concerns, and other building-related matters.
• Ensure that common areas and building surroundings are kept clean and free from garbage or obstructions.
• Check building facilities and promptly report any issues such as faulty lights, water leaks, damaged doors, fire safety concerns, or other maintenance problems.
• Maintain daily reports and records of incidents, inspections, complaints, and other relevant activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with the appropriate management, maintenance, or emergency services when required.
• Handle complaints from tenants, visitors, and building occupants professionally.
• Ensure that watchmen follow company policies, building rules, and assigned procedures.
• Conduct regular rounds and inspections to identify potential safety, security, or maintenance issues.
• Assist management in coordinating access for contractors, maintenance teams, deliveries, and other authorized personnel.
• Carry out other duties related to building supervision and security as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Watchman Supervisor, Security Supervisor, Building Supervisor, or similar position.
• Previous experience managing and supervising a team of watchmen/security personnel.
• Good knowledge of building operations, facilities, common areas, and basic maintenance issues.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.
• Ability to drive and conduct inspections across assigned buildings/properties.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify and report building, safety, and security issues.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle emergencies and unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
• Basic computer and report-writing skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to urgent situations when required.

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
