Watchman / General Maintenance Worker

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Watchman / General Maintenance Worker to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and basic upkeep of our premises.

The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, physically fit, and able to perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and safeguard the premises, equipment, and company property.
• Control and monitor visitors, staff, and deliveries when required.
• Conduct regular checks of the premises and report any issues or abnormalities.
• Perform basic maintenance such as minor repairs, replacing bulbs, fixing simple fittings, and other general upkeep.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas, including basic cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Assist with moving, arranging, and organizing items when required.
• Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns to management promptly.
• Follow company safety and security procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a watchman, security/maintenance worker, handyman, cleaner, or similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair work.
• Able to perform cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
• Reliable, responsible, and physically fit.
• Good observation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in the UAE is an advantage.
