Water Distribution Operator

Job Summary

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the water distribution system to ensure continuous water supply and quality. The role includes pipeline maintenance, meter reading, billing distribution, customer service, and supporting construction and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Water Operations

• Operate and maintain the water distribution system to ensure continuous water supply.
• Perform pipeline maintenance, repairs, and basic construction works.
• Monitor water quality and support NRW (Non-Revenue Water) reduction initiatives.
• Ensure uninterrupted water service and respond to operational issues.

Customer Service

• Respond promptly to customer concerns and service requests.
• Investigate illegal water connections and report findings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational and customer issues.

Meter Reading & Billing

• Conduct accurate and timely water meter readings.
• Distribute water bills according to schedule.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.

Qualifications

• At least High School Graduate
• Experience in plumbing, water utility operations, construction, or maintenance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical wiring, and control panel operations.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious and knowledgeable in basic safety practices.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a manual transmission motorcycle.
