Custom Foam Products is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Water Jet Technician to join our production team on second shift. If you have experience operating manufacturing equipment, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in producing quality parts, this could be a great fit.

This position offers a unique four-day work week, providing a consistent schedule and three-day weekends while working with advanced cutting equipment in a stable manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate waterjet cutting equipment and manual saws
• Read and interpret work orders, cut sheets, and production drawings
• Measure materials and finished products accurately using a tape measure
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
• Troubleshoot minor equipment and cutting issues
• Record production information, material usage, quantities, and machine settings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support production goals while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Experience operating waterjet equipment, CNC machinery, saws, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure, including fractional measurements
• Comfortable reading blueprints, drawings, and cut sheets
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with waterjet equipment is a plus, but candidates with related manufacturing or machine operation experience who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply. Training is available for the right individual.

• Overtime opportunities available as needed
• Overtime shifts may begin as early as 11:30 AM
