MITIGATION TECHNICIAN
Build a Career. Learn a Trade. Make a Difference.
Emergency Restoration Services (ERS) is looking for a career-minded Water Mitigation Technician who wants more than just another job.
If you are the kind of person who takes pride in their work, shows up when they say they will, works hard when things get tough, and wants to build a career with a company that invests in its people — we want to meet you.
You don't need years of restoration experience to join our team. We WATER are willing to train the right person from the ground up.
Experience in restoration, construction, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, flooring, remodeling, landscaping, automotive, military, or another hands-on blue-collar industry is a plus — but not required.
What matters most is your attitude, work ethic, reliability, and desire to get better.
THIS IS A CAREER PATH — NOT JUST A JOB
At ERS, we believe good employees shouldn't have to leave the company to grow their income and responsibility.
We have built a proven advancement path designed to reward people who learn, perform, take ownership, and live our values.
Your earning potential grows with you.
Our advancement structure provides for 45%+ growth in base pay over the first three years from your date of hire, in addition to opportunities to earn through our pay-for-performance commission structure.
That means your income isn't dependent on simply waiting for an annual raise.
Learn more. Do more. Take on more responsibility. Earn more.
You'll receive paid training and ongoing professional development designed to help you progress from technician to higher levels of responsibility within the company.
OUR CORE VALUES
Our culture isn't something we put on a wall and forget about. These are the standards we expect from ourselves and each other:
ALWAYS BE OPEN & HONEST
Tell the truth. Communicate clearly. Own mistakes. If something goes wrong, speak up and help fix it.
TEAM BEFORE SELF
We win together. Help your teammates. Don't leave someone hanging. The job gets done when everyone does their part.
CUSTOMER FIRST
Our customers are often dealing with one of the most stressful days they've experienced. Treat their home, business, belongings, and situation with respect.
SHOW UP & GET SHIT DONE
Be where you're supposed to be, when you're supposed to be there, ready to work. Take initiative. Don't wait around to be told every little thing that needs to happen.
TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK
The details matter. Leave the job cleaner than you found it. Do the work correctly, document it properly, and stand behind what you do.
If those values sound like you, you'll fit in here.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Water Mitigation Technician, you'll help homeowners and businesses recover after water damage and other property emergencies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to water damage emergencies and helping stabilize affected properties

- Protecting customers' homes and belongings during restoration work
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Performing demolition, cleaning, debris removal, and other physical restoration tasks
- Following company safety procedures and industry standards
- Working as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and correctly
- Providing an exceptional customer experience from the initial response through completion
You will be trained on our systems, equipment, processes, documentation, and restoration practices.

ABOUT EMERGENCY RESTORATION SERVICES
Emergency Restoration Services was founded in 2010 with a goal of changing the way restoration companies serve their customers and develop their employees.
We've built our company around a simple idea:
Take care of the customer. Take care of the team. Do great work.
Our team handles some of the most difficult days our customers experience — water damage, fire damage, mold, and other property emergencies. That responsibility requires people who are dependable, professional, hardworking, and willing to do what it takes to help.
We're continuing to grow, and we're looking for people who want to grow with us.
We believe in developing people from within rather than simply hiring for the next position.
If you demonstrate the right attitude, learn the trade, perform at a high level, and consistently live our core values, there is room for you to advance.
