Water Mitigation Technician – $22/Hour

Studio 24 Restoration Group is growing and looking for a dependable, hardworking Water Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team.

This is not a Lead Technician position. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the water damage restoration industry, work alongside an experienced Lead Technician, and grow into a larger role with the company.

Compensation

Starting Pay: $22/hour

Opportunity for increased pay and responsibility as you gain experience and demonstrate that you can handle jobs independently.

What You’ll Learn

You will work directly alongside our Lead Mitigation Technician and receive hands-on training in:

• Water extraction
• Setting up air movers and dehumidifiers
• Moisture detection and monitoring
• Removing wet drywall, insulation, flooring, and other damaged materials
• Setting up containment barriers
• HEPA air filtration and air scrubbers
• Antimicrobial treatments
• Proper PPE and jobsite safety
• Equipment setup, monitoring, and breakdown
• Jobsite documentation and photos
• Debris removal and jobsite cleanup
• Communicating professionally with homeowners

Who We’re Looking For

You do not need to be a Lead Technician.

Some construction, demolition, restoration, maintenance, or general labor experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Dependable and shows up on time
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Comfortable performing physical work
• Able to follow instructions
• Professional around homeowners
• Comfortable working in basements, crawlspaces, and damaged properties
• Willing to wear PPE when required
• Able to lift and move restoration equipment
• Interested in building a career instead of just finding another temporary job

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are strongly preferred.

IICRC certification is NOT required. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude who can learn our system.

Growth Opportunity

Our goal is to train this person to eventually become an independent Water Mitigation Technician.

As you gain experience, you can take on more responsibility, handle smaller jobs independently, perform equipment monitoring and pickups, and eventually operate a company restoration van and manage your own assigned jobs.

There is also future opportunity to earn additional certifications and advance within the company as we continue expanding our mitigation division.

Schedule

Water damage restoration is an emergency service business, so schedules can vary depending on incoming jobs.

Regular daytime availability is important, and opportunities for additional hours may be available during emergency losses, storms, and busy periods.
