About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Water Proofer to join the engineering team at TECHBROKERS WASTE WATER SOLUTIONS INC. This is a full-time position based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Water Proofer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and durability of water and waste water infrastructure by applying waterproofing solutions and protecting structures from water infiltration and damage. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the quality and longevity of our projects whilst contributing to the prevention of environmental contamination.

Key responsibilities

• Apply waterproofing materials and coatings to water and waste water treatment structures, pipes, and related infrastructure
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and priming them in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Conduct thorough inspections of structures to identify areas requiring waterproofing treatment and assess the condition of existing waterproofing systems
• Perform quality assurance checks on all waterproofing work to ensure compliance with design specifications and relevant regulations
• Maintain detailed records of materials used, work completed, and any issues encountered during the waterproofing process
• Collaborate with other members of the engineering and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols whilst working on site
• Troubleshoot waterproofing failures and recommend corrective measures to prevent future issues

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Water Proofer or in a similar waterproofing role within the water and waste engineering sector
• Demonstrated expertise in applying various waterproofing materials and techniques, including membranes, coatings, and sealants
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing standards, building codes, and best practices relevant to water and waste water infrastructure
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Physical capability to work at heights and in challenging environmental conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current relevant certifications in waterproofing applications or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred
• Knowledge of water and waste water treatment processes would be advantageous
