Overview

Water Resources Engineer, Scheibe Consulting, LLC. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for public and private infrastructure projects. Develop and apply HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS models for watershed, drainage, floodplain, and stormwater studies. Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, drainage studies, floodplain analyses, and supporting calculations. Design stormwater management and drainage infrastructure systems. Conduct engineering computations and evaluate engineering alternatives. Assist in reviewing technical work products prepared by Engineering interns (EITs) and entry-level engineering staff. Perform site investigations and field evaluations as required. Coordinate with project team members to support engineering design and analysis activities.

• Does not supervise other employees

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering
• 48 months of experience as a Water Resources Engineer or Civil Engineer
• Professional Engineering License (PE) in Texas
• Certified Floodplain Manager Certification (CFM)
• Experience using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and GIS for hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
