Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of water systems, including pumps, valves, and pipelines to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently during installation or repair projects.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks to move equipment, materials, or supplies necessary for water system operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with water treatment or distribution equipment and implement effective repairs promptly.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new water infrastructure projects while following safety guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all work adheres to environmental regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in operating or maintaining water systems or related equipment.
• Prior experience working within the oil & gas industry or similar industrial environments is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, or cranes required for project tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly.
• Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks that involve manual labor over extended periods.
• Relevant certifications related to heavy equipment operation or water system maintenance are a plus.

Pay: $15.78-$41.31 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week

Work Location: In person
