We're looking for a Water Technician who will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment systems, ensuring water safety and full regulatory compliance across customer sites.

Role Responsibilities

Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, and minor plumbing works.

Carrying out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8.

Maintaining customer water logbooks and completing all required documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.

Carrying out water system cleans and disinfections in line with ACoP L8 and Mitie procedures.

Testing, servicing, and maintaining thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), along with supporting basic plumbing works where required.

Completing closed system on‑site analysis and chemical dosing.

Carrying out mains injection works.

Performing cooling tower cleaning and disinfection activities.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment.

Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.
