Panks Engineers Ltd are looking for an experienced Water Treatment & Plumbing Engineer to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role involving the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of water treatment systems, clean water systems and associated plumbing works.

The successful candidate will work with a range of water treatment equipment and systems, providing a high standard of workmanship and professional service.

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing water treatment systems.
• Working with a range of equipment including:
• Water filters
• Water softeners
• UV treatment units
• Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
• Pumps and booster systems
• Chemical dosing equipment
• Working with both borehole/private water supplies and mains water systems.
• Installation and maintenance of clean water and drinking water systems.
• Cleaning and chlorination of water storage tanks and water systems.
• Carrying out water sampling, testing and temperature monitoring.
• Carrying out water hygiene and preventative maintenance works.
• Fault finding, diagnosing issues and carrying out remedial works.
• Assisting with and carrying out general plumbing works where required.
• Completing job sheets, service reports and other required paperwork.
• Liaising with customers and site contacts in a professional manner.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

About You

We're looking for someone with the below desirable skills, however training will be provided

• Previous experience in water treatment, water hygiene, plumbing or a related engineering role.
• Practical experience installing, servicing and maintaining water treatment equipment.
• Knowledge of filters, softeners, UV units, Reverse Osmosis, pumps and chemical dosing systems.
• Experience working with borehole/private water supplies and/or mains water systems.
• Experience with clean water and drinking water systems.
• Experience of tank cleaning and chlorination.
• Good practical plumbing skills.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A professional, tidy and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• A full UK driving licence.

Pay: From £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.0 per week
