Water Treatment Technician Assistant/Helper

This is a hands-on position assisting an experienced service technician with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential water treatment equipment, well pumps and well tanks. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and learning a skilled trade rather than being stuck behind a desk.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with installation and service of water softeners, filtration systems, pumps, tanks, and related equipment
• Carrying tools, equipment, salt, and other materials to and from job sites
• Helping with plumbing connections and equipment setup
• Providing courteous, professional service while working in customers’ homes and businesses

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is dependable
• Is mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Is willing to learn and take direction
• Can perform physical work, including lifting and moving equipment and bags of salt
• Is comfortable working in basements, utility rooms, crawl spaces, and other typical service locations
• Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Can communicate professionally with customers and coworkers

Previous plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, or mechanical experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person!

This position offers the opportunity to advance through the ranks and enroll in Connecticut's licensed J2 program to become a licensed Water Treatment Technician.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
