Job Description

ZOLTECH Water Solutions Inc. is looking for a qualified Water Treatment Technician with hands-on experience in Cooling Tower Operations and Maintenance.

The technician will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, preventive maintenance, water-quality control, and basic troubleshooting of cooling tower systems and associated water-treatment equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cooling tower systems and associated equipment.
• Perform daily inspection of cooling towers, pumps, piping, valves, strainers, and chemical dosing systems.
• Monitor and record water-treatment operating parameters.
• Conduct routine water-quality testing including pH, conductivity/TDS, chlorine or biocide residual, and other required parameters.
• Monitor chemical dosing for scale, corrosion, and microbiological control.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Check for leaks, abnormal vibration, noise, temperature, pressure, flow, and other unusual operating conditions.
• Assist in troubleshooting cooling tower and water-treatment system problems.
• Maintain daily operating logs, chemical consumption records, and maintenance reports.
• Follow site safety, PPE, chemical-handling, and company procedures.
• Report equipment and operational concerns to the assigned supervisor or engineer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in cooling tower operations and maintenance.
• Experience in industrial water treatment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cooling tower chemical treatment and dosing.
• Familiar with pumps, valves, piping, dosing pumps, and basic mechanical equipment.
• Capable of performing basic water-quality testing.
• Basic troubleshooting and preventive-maintenance skills.
• TESDA/technical/vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Water Treatment, or related fields is an advantage.
• Willing to be assigned at LIMA Estate, Lipa, Batangas.
• Willing to work under a 2-year project contract.
