Senior Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Location: Greater Phoenix Area, AZ

Salary: 100,000-130,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

A respected, emplcused civil engineering consulting firm in the Phoenix market is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of municipal infrastructure projects while taking on increasing responsibility in project delivery, client management, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and oversee design calculations, technical reports, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utility districts, and regulatory agencies.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communication.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on public infrastructure improvements.
• Support business development efforts, proposals, and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain Arizona PE through comity.
• Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Water distribution systems
  • Wastewater collection systems
  • Pump stations and force mains
  • Water treatment facilities
  • Wastewater treatment facilities
  • Capital improvement programs
• Strong project management and client-facing skills preferred.
• Experience working with Arizona municipalities is a plus.
