Water/Fire Damage Technician

Water/Fire Damage Technician – Denver, CO (W-2) or (1099 Contractor) Pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience)

We are expanding our mitigation team and seeking reliable Water & Fire Damage Technicians for residential and commercial projects throughout the Denver metro area. This will be either a W-2 or 1099 contractor position with steady work and an on‑call rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Water damage mitigation labor and demo
• Removal of all flooring types (carpet, laminate, hardwood, tile, vinyl)
• Drywall removal and controlled demolition
• After‑hours emergency response on a rotating on‑call schedule
• Fire damage cleanup and mitigation tasks
• Jobsite safety, professionalism, and communication with team leads
• Completing tasks assigned by management as job needs evolve

Requirements:

• Experience in water or fire mitigation is preferred but will hire right person
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Reliable transportation and phone
• Willingness to work after hours when on call
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
