WATERJET OPERATOR

Responsible for operating and monitoring the waterjet cutting machine to accurately cut various materials according to approved drawings, measurements, and production requirements. The operator will ensure proper machine setup, safe operation, quality output, and routine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor CNC waterjet cutting machine.
• Set up the machine according to cutting specifications and production requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and cutting layouts.
• Load and position materials properly before cutting.
• Adjust cutting parameters such as pressure, speed, and cutting path.
• Ensure accurate and high-quality cuts based on required dimensions.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects.
• Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance of the machine.
• Monitor water, abrasive/garnet, and other consumables.
• Report machine issues, defects, or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Follow company safety procedures and proper machine-handling practices.
