Waterway Structures Project Manager

Overview Colliers Engineering & Design is currently seeking a Waterway Structures Project Manager to join our growing team! This position has the potential for a remote work arrangement.

As a recognized national leader in the design of waterway structures, we handle projects from initial investigation and concept design, through final design and construction services. Responsibilities

• Manage resources, schedules, financials, management issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
• Ensure the success of the projects under his/her management.
• Provide leadership to individuals within and outside of Colliers Engineering & Design.
• Plan, organize, and supervise the work and workload of project staff.
• Monitor project costs to ensure that project is delivered within budget, fulfills customer expectations, maintains profitability, and/or aligns with the company strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering is required; Master's degree or PMP certification preferred.
• 8+ years of experience managing task orders for Dam Safety and/or Waterway Structures projects required.
• PE license required.
• Prior business development experience required.
• Proven ability to manage and lead multi-disciplinary teams meeting schedule, budget, and quality goals.
• Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win work from existing and new clients.
• Ability to work remotely with team members in other offices.
• Previous mentoring and coaching experience is a plus.
• Some travel may be required for site visits, meetings, etc.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $101,100 to $146,600 per year (depending on qualifications)
