We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of high-quality food items, ensuring that all meals are prepared in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for food service and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring food items according to recipes and specifications.
• Assist cooks and chefs in the kitchen with various tasks to ensure smooth operations during meal preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items and equipment.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers.
• Participate in catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed, contributing to the overall success of the service.
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area when required.

Experience

• Previous experience in food handling or food service is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
• Familiarity with restaurant or catering environments is a plus, especially in roles related to kitchen support or hospitality.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential for success in this position.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment will be beneficial.
