Wave Planner

Schedule: M-F 8a-5p onsite + OVT

Type: Temporary for approximately 60 days

Wage: $20 Hourly

Location : Memphis, TN 38118

SUMMARY: The associate is responsible for releasing work to the floor and tracking the progress of waves in order to meet business needs

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the creation, analysis, and execution of wave planning activities to ensure customer shipping requirements are met while balancing workload across all shifts.
• Coordinate daily priorities and generate operational reports to track productivity, measure performance, and support decision-making.
• Manage pick ticket processing, including printing, organizing, and distributing work assignments to appropriate departments.
• Partner with warehouse operations teams to monitor replenishment activities and facilitate the timely release of orders to the warehouse floor.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, proactively identifying issues and working with operations leadership to implement solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.
• Assess system performance and operational processes on an ongoing basis, recommending enhancements to improve effectiveness and productivity.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business and operational objectives.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in related field required;
• experience in warehouse operations, customer service, and/or inventory control clerk preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year Wave Planning experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of CMS preferred
• Ability to apply and utilize analytical tools to determine decisions based on customer expectations
• Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus).
