Wax Specialist

WAX SPECIALIST — HOT PINK

Hot Pink is hiring a Wax Specialist!

We’re building a salon that’s fun, welcoming, inclusive, and anything but boring — and we’re looking for a Wax Specialist who can bring great energy AND great results.

If you love making people feel confident, can make a Brazilian appointment feel like hanging out with your bestie, and know how to create an experience that keeps clients coming back, we want to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Wax Specialist at Hot Pink, you’ll provide professional waxing services while creating a comfortable, judgment-free experience for every client.

Services will include:

✨ Full-body waxing
✨ Brazilian + bikini waxing
✨ Brow waxing + shaping
✨ Facial waxing
✨ Other waxing services offered by Hot Pink

But we’re not just looking for someone who can wax.

We want someone who knows that the client experience is everything.

You’ll also:

Consult with clients about their needs and desired results
Educate clients on pre- and post-wax care
Recommend products when they genuinely benefit the client
Help clients stay consistent by rebooking future appointments
Maintain a clean, sanitized, organized workspace
Follow all sanitation, safety, and licensing requirements
Help create the fun, welcoming atmosphere Hot Pink is all about
Build relationships with clients and work toward growing a loyal clientele
Support salon promotions, events, and occasional social media content

Who We’re Looking For

You might be our person if you’re:

✨ Friendly, confident, and easy to talk to
✨ Professional without being stuffy
✨ Comfortable performing intimate waxing services
✨ Detail-oriented and serious about sanitation
✨ Reliable and ready to be part of a growing salon
✨ Comfortable recommending retail and asking clients to rebook
✨ Someone who genuinely enjoys making clients feel comfortable and confident
✨ A team player who brings good energy into the salon

Experience is welcome, but we’re open to different experience levels. Personality, professionalism, willingness to learn, and how you treat clients matter to us.

Applicants must hold any current license required to legally perform waxing services in Kentucky.

Why Hot Pink?

Hot Pink isn't trying to be the quiet, intimidating salon where you feel like you can't touch anything.

We want clients to walk in and think:

“Okayyyy, I found my place.”

We’re creating a modern salon experience built around great services, good energy, confidence, community, and a team that actually enjoys coming to work.

And because Hot Pink is growing from the beginning, this is an opportunity to come in early, build your clientele, and grow alongside the salon.
