She enjoys creating content, stays up to date with social media trends, and is comfortable with video editing. She is a team player who communicates well, thinks quickly, and confidently finds solutions when unexpected situations arise in the treatment room. She is independent, takes initiative, and can be trusted to get the job done without being micromanaged.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of experience performing Brazilian and full-body waxing services
• Experienced with both hard and soft wax
• Licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist in North Carolina
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience
• Knowledge of proper waxing techniques, sanitation, and aftercare
• Strong understanding of skincare ingredients and confidence recommending appropriate aftercare products
• Social media savvy and comfortable on camera
• Basic content creation and video editing skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
• Willing and excited to continue learning and growing with us

Responsibilities

• Perform Brazilian and full-body waxing services using both soft and hard wax
• Conduct thoughtful client consultations and understand each client's goals and concerns
• Educate clients on proper aftercare and recommend appropriate products
• Maintain Skin CO. sanitation, service, and client-experience standards
• Build genuine client relationships and encourage rebooking
• Contribute to Skin CO. social media and content creation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment

Availability

• Full-Time
• Availability: Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

Application Question(s):

• What is your approach to recommending aftercare products for clients after a Brazilian or body wax? Please explain what you look for in products that help with exfoliation, hydration/moisturizing, brightening, and preventing ingrown hairs.
• A client comes in with stubborn ingrown hairs and says they are already exfoliating and moisturizing regularly. How would you approach the situation? What questions would you ask, and what would you recommend as the next step?
• A client finishes their Brazilian and has a few very short hairs or “stragglers” remaining. How would you approach the situation to give the client the smoothest possible result?
• How do you approach a first-time Brazilian client who is nervous or uncomfortable? Walk us through how you would build trust and make them feel comfortable throughout the service.
• This is a full-time position with weekends required. Are you able to work Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays?

• Body waxing: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Esthetician or Cosmetology License in North Carolina? (Required)
