WAX SPECIALIST

Position Summary

Newly licensed? We will train you. As a Licensed Esthetician – Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you will deliver high-quality, efficient waxing services in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and help every guest leave feeling confident.

You will receive consistent training and observation to further develop your waxing skills, with opportunities to advance as your skills grow. This is a sales, commission, and tip-driven role: the more guests you serve and keep coming back, the more you earn.

Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions

• Perform high-quality, efficient waxing services following European Wax Center standards, patterns, protocols, and techniques.
• Build a loyal guest base by rebooking guests and delivering an outstanding experience every visit.
• Recommend European Wax Center products to help guests get the best results and contribute to center sales.
• Meet your sales performance metrics, including rebooking, guest retention, and product sales.
• Keep your wax suite clean, sanitized, and up to brand standards.
• Take part in ongoing training and observations to keep growing your skills.
• Bring a positive, team-first attitude that reflects our Core Values.

Qualifications

• Valid state Esthetician, Cosmetology or Waxing license. Newly licensed estheticians are welcome.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with clear and effective consultations with guests
• Strong attention to detail, with precise and efficient waxing services
• Able to adapt to different guest preferences and comfort levels
• Knowledge of skincare and waxing products, with the ability to recommend products based on each guest’s needs
• Self-motivated and process-focused
• Commitment to all state sanitation and licensing requirements

Work Environment

• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, communicate with others, and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
• Must be able to stand at a wax table for an entire shift.
• Must be able to change activities often as the business requires.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously when communicating with guests, team members, and management.
