We are hiring Shift Engineer C license @ Coimbatore

Position: Shift Engineer C Licence
Location: Coimbatore
Licence: Valid C Licence
Experience: 5 years preferred
Shift: Rotational shifts

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage engineering activities during the assigned shift.
• Monitor HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS and other electrical systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted and safe power supply to the facility.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and monitor operating parameters.
• Attend electrical breakdowns and coordinate with technicians for timely rectification.
• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Maintain shift logs, checklists, breakdown reports and maintenance records.
• Allocate duties to technicians and monitor their performance.
• Coordinate with the Facility Manager, client and other engineering teams.
• Ensure proper implementation of PTW and LOTO procedures.
• Handle electrical emergencies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare daily shift reports and ensure proper shift handover.
• Monitor energy consumption and support energy-saving initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems and facility operations.
• Knowledge of DG, transformer, UPS, APFC and electrical distribution systems.
• Good troubleshooting and team-management skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and statutory compliance.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in rotational shifts.
