What they need

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Wealth Advisor and become a trusted partner in guiding clients toward achieving their financial goals. The Wealth Advisor manages and grows an assigned book of client relationships. The firm provides an established client base, a consistent flow of qualified opportunities, comprehensive planning tools, and a dedicated support team.

This is a relationship-driven growth role focused on delivering an exceptional client experience, retaining existing relationships, and helping clients achieve their financial objectives. The advisor is responsible for servicing assigned households, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships, and contributing to the firm's continued growth through referrals and additional planning engagements.

This position is ideal for someone seeking to build a long-term career within an established organization, supported by a collaborative team, proven processes, and strong operational resources.

  • Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client’s unique goals, risk tolerance, and life circumstances.
  • Provide expert advice on estate planning strategies, wills, trusts, and estate law to help clients preserve wealth across generations.
  • Manage investment portfolios by analyzing financial markets, recommending suitable securities, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Offer guidance on banking services, cash management, and financial products to optimize liquidity and cash flow.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, portfolio reviews, and updates on market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as FINRA standards and securities law while adhering to financial software protocols.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis using technical accounting skills and research to support investment decisions and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management and Retention

  • Serve as the primary advisor for an assigned book of client households. Run client reviews on the firm’s defined cadence: A-tier households ($1M and above) semi-annually; B-tier ($250,000–$1M) and C-tier (under $250,000) annually.
  • Keep every financial plan current in MoneyGuidePro, updated within 12 months for A- and B-tier households.
  • Present financial plans and investment recommendations independently.
  • Engage the next generation on A-tier households: identify the heir or spouse, capture their contact information, and log an introduction.
  • Identify at-risk relationships early and act to protect retention.
  • Deliver a client experience that earns strong scores on the annual client-satisfaction survey.
  • Coordinate with investment operations and the back office so client requests are executed accurately and on time.

Business Development and Growth

  • Grow assets under management and deepen relationships within the assigned book of business in support of annual goals.
  • Incorporate referral conversations into ongoing client review meetings.
  • Receive and convert qualified inbound opportunities generated by the firm.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate outside assets when appropriate and in the client's best interest.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with professional centers of influence and community contacts that support the firm's growth objectives.
  • Recommend insurance, annuity, and other financial solutions when suitable and aligned with the client's financial plan and objectives.
  • Introduce additional planning services when appropriate to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities, execute disciplined follow-up, and provide regular activity reporting to leadership.

Other duties. Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the firm, its clients, and the team.

After-hours events. The role is based on a Monday-through-Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. A limited number of after hours and evening events — client seminars, appreciation events, and similar — are a mandatory part of the position.

Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise makes a tangible difference! We’re committed to supporting your professional growth through ongoing training in industry regulations and advanced financial concepts—empowering you to deliver exceptional service while advancing your career in the vibrant world of wealth advisory services.
