Wealth Management Advisor

I’m looking for the right person.

After more than 25 years in this business, I’ve learned that building a successful wealth management practice isn’t about finding the person with the most impressive résumé.

It’s about finding the right person.

So I’m looking to add a Financial Advisor to Team DeWolfe at Investment Consulting Group in Birmingham.

I’m not necessarily looking for someone who has already built a big book of business. In fact, that’s not the most important thing to me.

I’m looking for someone who has decided that this is what they want to do and has the drive to become exceptional at it.

Someone who is licensed, but still hungry.

Someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people and building relationships.

Someone who is persistent enough to hear “no” and keep going.

Someone who is willing to make the extra call, have the extra conversation, learn something new, and do the work even when nobody is checking.

And someone who understands that success in this business is built over years, not weeks.

We have spent more than three decades building a practice, a client base, a process, and a team that I'm proud of.

The person who joins us will have the opportunity to learn from that experience and use the systems, planning tools, technology, and support we've developed to become a better advisor.

But I'm looking for someone who brings something of their own to the table, too.

Ambition. Curiosity. Persistence. Integrity.

You don't have to know everything.

You do have to want to learn.

You don't have to have everything figured out.

You do have to know that this is the career you want.

And you don't have to have a book of business today.

You do have to be willing to build one.

The right person could have an opportunity here that goes well beyond the next job on their résumé.

Over time, there is an opportunity to take on greater responsibility, become an important part of our client relationships and, potentially, play a significant role in the next chapter of the practice.

That's a big opportunity.

And it's also a big responsibility.
