What they need
We’re partnering with an established professional services firm in the Dallas area to identify a Wealth Advisor to support and grow its investment advisory practice.
This is an opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners in a collaborative environment that integrates wealth management, investment advisory, and tax expertise.
The firm offers the sophistication of complex client engagements with the personalized culture of a close-knit team—where professional growth, long-term relationships, and work-life balance matter.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, providing ongoing investment advice and personalized service.
- Develop, implement, and monitor investment strategies aligned with client goals, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs.
- Collaborate with tax and accounting professionals to coordinate investment decisions with broader financial planning needs.
- Oversee client reviews, account onboarding, transfers, and ongoing custodial services.
- Support business development through referrals, professional relationships, and existing client networks.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to fiduciary responsibilities and regulatory requirements.
We’re open to two potential backgrounds:
- Experienced Wealth Advisor: Approximately 8+ years of experience in a registered investment advisory (RIA) environment, with demonstrated success managing client relationships and investment portfolios.
- CPA with Investment Experience: A manager-level accounting professional with meaningful hands-on investment experience and the ability to integrate tax and accounting knowledge into wealth advisory services.
Additional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with Fidelity Institutional or similar custodial platforms is highly desirable.
- CFP certification and/or Series 7 and Series 66 licenses preferred, as applicable to the role.
- Strong client communication, relationship management, and business development skills.
