Senior Support Manager, Wealth Management Technology

About the Opportunity

A leading financial services organization is seeking an experienced Senior Support Manager to oversee the stability, performance, and ongoing enhancement of its Wealth Management technology platforms. This position combines production support leadership with platform reliability initiatives, ensuring seamless business operations and an optimal user experience across trading and post-trade systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive platform reliability and operational excellence across wealth management applications, including trading, settlement, and digital channels.

• Identify operational risks, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for system improvements.

• Enhance monitoring capabilities by defining alert frameworks, performance thresholds, and observability standards.

• Lead incident management activities, including root cause investigations and follow-up remediation plans.

• Participate in system testing, release activities, and production deployments.

• Conduct routine health checks and operational monitoring to maintain platform stability.

• Provide support during critical incidents and scheduled maintenance activities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 5 to 15 years of experience in application support, production support, site reliability engineering, or technology operations within the financial services sector.

• Strong experience in incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.

• Good understanding of wealth management, securities trading, derivatives, settlement processes, and market systems.

• Knowledge of SQL, scripting, automation tools, or batch processing environments.

• Experience in coordinating business continuity, disaster recovery, testing, and change management activities.

• Fluent in English and Chinese. Mandarin proficiency would be an advantage.
