About the role
The Wealth Advisory grows Assets Under Management (AUM) by acquiring, advising, and retaining High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), affluent family offices, and business owners. This role translates the firm's investment strategy, macroeconomic outlook, and asset allocation models into bespoke wealth solutions, with a focus on discretionary and non-discretionary private funds, mutual funds, and specialized wealth mandates tailored to each client's goals.
Key responsibilities
- Actively prospect, pitch, and onboard HNWI and corporate treasury clients to expand the firm's managed asset base
- Act as the primary trusted advisor, conducting periodic portfolio performance reviews and rebalancing discussions aligned with evolving market conditions
- Understand each client's risk tolerance, liquidity needs, tax situation, and investment requirements, and design solutions that suit them
- Identify client suitability for tailored Private Fund (PF) structures, discretionary mandates, and segregated account strategies
- Lead end-to-end advisory discussions on asset allocation across global fixed income, global equities, structured notes, and alternative asset classes
- Partner with Fund Manager to draft Investment Policy Statements (IPS) and design bespoke mandates for institutional clients
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning covering capital preservation, intergenerational wealth transfer, and long-term liquidity planning
- Work alongside the sales team to support the acquisition of net new money and the growth of assets under management across mutual fund and private fund product lines
- Ensure all onboarding, advisory engagements, and private fund mandate agreements comply with regulatory standards (SEC) and internal compliance policies
About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
- Experience in wealth advisory, private banking, or affluent relationship management within an asset management firm, securities firm, or commercial bank
- Direct experience in pitching, structuring, or managing Private Fund (PF) accounts, discretionary mandates, or segregated portfolios
- Demonstrated record of winning new clients and growing a portfolio of assets
- Strong technical understanding of global asset allocation, modern portfolio theory, and alternative asset classes
- Exceptional consultative presentation, negotiation, and high-stakes relationship management capabilities
- Preferable: Investment Consultant (IC) License or Investment Planner (IP) License
- Advantage: Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or CFA charterholder/candidate
