What they need
Bradley, Foster & Sargent is an independently owned, fast-growing investment advisory and wealth management firm. Our culture is based on serving clients well through customized, goal-oriented investment management services. We value dedication, hard work and a sense of urgency.
We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Wealth Planner to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a planner who is passionate about helping clients align their wealth with what matters most to them. Working closely with Portfolio Managers and Wealth Advisors, the Wealth Planner will serve as a trusted partner to high-net-worth individuals and families, helping uncover goals, simplify complex planning concepts, and deliver clarity around important financial decisions.
The Opportunity For candidates with an existing book of business, Bradley, Foster & Sargent provides an opportunity to leverage the firm’s investment capabilities, planning resources, technology, and collaborative team structure while continuing to develop and deepen client relationships.
For candidates without a book of business, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced advisors and investment professionals, develop meaningful client relationships, participate in client meetings, and grow into an increasingly significant client-facing role — without the expectation that they must bring a book on day one.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, naturally curious, and genuinely interested in understanding what drives a client’s financial decisions. They ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and can turn complex planning concepts into practical conversations and actionable recommendations.
Job Description And Responsibilities

- Help clients evaluate major life decisions and transitions, including retirement, business succession, inheritance, charitable giving, and wealth transfer.
- Participate in client meetings and present planning analyses and recommendations.
- Build and deepen long-term client relationships through exceptional service, responsiveness, and follow-through.
- Stay current on wealth planning strategies, industry trends, and regulatory developments affecting high-net-worth clients.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, private wealth, or a related advisory environment.
