Wealth Settlement Specialist

Job Duties:

• Perform banking settlement business and customer service.

  Trade Order Placement: Manage the placement of trades (e.g., ETF, stocks, bonds, and structured notes).

  Trade Settlement Process: Oversee the settlement of trades, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

  Liaison with Counterparties: Coordinate with settlement counterparties to resolve any issues such as failing trades.

  Ensure Cutoff Compliance: Ensure all settlements are processed by the respective cutoff times to avoid delays.

  Custodian & Internal Queries: Follow up on custodians and address internal queries related to settlement processes.

  Corporate Actions: Handle corporate actions (e.g., dividends, stock splits) and ensure proper documentation and settlement.

  Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports such as Depot and Nostro reconciliations to track settlement progress.

• Provide clerical support to the department. ****

• Maintain standard of operation control and compliance of Internal policy.

• Participate in system enhancement projects, including UAT testing and ad-hoc assignments.

Requirement:

• Higher diploma or above in relevant disciplines (e.g. Business, Accounting, Management etc.)
• Minimum 1 year of settlement experience or above 3 years’ relevant experience in financial institution.
• Independent, self-motivated, accountable, able to multi-task and to work under pressure
• Good computer skill in MS Word and Excel.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
• Less experience will be considered for the position of Wealth Settlement Assistant Specialist
