What they need
Cloud WAF Engineer AWS/Azure/ GCP
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with AWS WAF / Cloud WAF.
- Strong knowledge of Web Application Security and OWASP Top 10.
- Experience in WAF rule creation, tuning and troubleshooting.
- Strong security/WAF log analysis skills, preferably from a SOC/SIRT background.
- Experience handling web security incidents and working with SOC teams.
- Knowledge of HTTPS, TLS termination, certificates and rate limiting.
- Exposure to F5, Akamai, ModSecurity or other WAF technologies is an advantage.
- Understanding of AWS /AZURE/ GCP cloud services, networking and security controls.
- Basic experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD and Git is desirable.
