About the role

We are seeking a talented Web Developer to join our team in Ipoh, Perak on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role within our Web Development & Production division, where you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web applications and digital solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs. As a Web Developer at KMS Automatic Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver high-quality digital products and services. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy responsive web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience
• Optimise web applications for speed, scalability, and compatibility across multiple browsers and devices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends in web development
• Work collaboratively with backend developers and other technical teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality
• Assist in the documentation and knowledge transfer of web applications and systems

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in web development with proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of web frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar)
• Experience with back-end development and server-side programming languages (e.g., PHP, Node.js, Python, or Java)
• Familiarity with databases and SQL, including experience with both relational and non-relational databases
• Understanding of web application architecture, RESTful APIs, and web services
• Version control proficiency using Git or similar systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development approaches
• Preferred: Experience with web development tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Preferred: Knowledge of web security best practices and SSL/HTTPS implementation
• Preferred: Portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating previous web development projects
