Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Web Content Publisher to support the ongoing management, creation, and publication of website content across a portfolio of well-known retail brands.
This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience working within Content Management Systems (CMS) and managing website content from brief through to publication.
Unlike a developer-focused position, this role does not require advanced HTML or CSS coding skills. The priority is experience building, updating, scheduling, and maintaining website content using CMS platforms.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and creative teams to ensure website content is accurate, engaging, on-brand, and published according to campaign and go-live schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Build, update, schedule, and publish website content using a CMS.
Manage website content across multiple retail and eCommerce brands.
Create and update landing pages, campaign pages, promotional content, banners, imagery, links, and website copy.
Ensure website updates are completed accurately and according to agreed go-live dates.
Remove expired or outdated website content promptly.
Conduct quality assurance checks on published content, including:
- Links and functionality
- Images and creative assets
- Copy and formatting
- Page layouts
- Content accuracy
Identify and resolve website content issues or escalate them where required.
Coordinate with marketing, creative, production, and other internal stakeholders.
Manage multiple content requests and campaigns simultaneously.
Ensure all website content follows brand, accessibility, and quality guidelines.
Support post-publication verification and ensure any required amendments are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Web Content Publisher, CMS Publisher, Digital Content Coordinator, Website Content Coordinator, eCommerce Content Specialist, or similar.
- Strong hands-on experience using Content Management Systems to create, update, schedule, and maintain website content.
- Experience publishing and managing website content rather than primarily building websites through code.
- Experience within retail, eCommerce, digital marketing, or digital content environments.
- Experience managing website campaigns, landing pages, promotional content, product or category content, and scheduled updates.
- Strong website content QA and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Highly Regarded
Experience with CMS platforms such as:
- Adobe Experience Manager / AEM
- Contentful
- Sitecore
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Shopify
- Magento / Adobe Commerce
- Drupal
- WordPress
- Other enterprise or eCommerce CMS platforms
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge would be beneficial for minor troubleshooting or content adjustments, but advanced coding experience is not required for this position.
What We’re Looking For
You’re someone who is:
- Detail-oriented and highly organised
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail/eCommerce environment
- Confident managing several content updates at once
- Able to work to strict launch and campaign deadlines
- Proactive in identifying website content issues
- Comfortable collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders
