Web Design Assistant (Day Shift + Fixed Weekends Off)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented Web Design Assistant to become a long-term extension of our Australian client's team.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident working with WordPress and Elementor, has strong graphic design skills, and has a good eye for clean, professional, and premium visual presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Upload new products to the WordPress website and create and update product pages.

• Replace existing product photography and imagery.

• Make layout and design improvements using Elementor.

• Ensure website pages are visually consistent and aligned with the brand.

• Implement general website updates, fixes, and improvements.

• Optimize images for website use, check pages for accuracy, consistency, and overall presentation.

• Perform regular WordPress and Elementor website updates and maintenance.

• Create and format Mailchimp newsletters and email marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with WordPress.
• Strong working knowledge of Elementor.
• Experience creating and editing website pages and layouts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
• Experience using Mailchimp for newsletters or email campaigns.
• Strong graphic design and visual communication skills.
• Excellent written English
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good understanding of branding and visual consistency.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and follow instructions.
