Web Designer and Developer (Project based position, 2-month)

Reporting to the Manager, Creative Design and Digital Development, we’re looking for a versatile Web Designer and Developer who is passionate about storytelling, digital creativity to complete a website revamp project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Web Design: Translate project specifications into clear site structures, visual directions, interactive elements, and production-ready web interfaces.
• Website Revamp: Rebuild a company website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web technologies to transform brand requirements into polished, fully responsive digital experiences.
• Accessibility & Localization: Build and optimize multi-language configurations and high-accessibility (text-only) web pages to meet diverse user and corporate standards.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough cross-browser and mobile-device testing to diagnose and resolve functional bugs, layouts errors, and performance bottlenecks.
• Code Quality & Handoff: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to guarantee seamless system handovers and future site maintenance.
• Digital Asset Creation: Produce high-quality, on-brand creative assets including graphics and basic video elements, which are strictly aligned with corporate brand guidelines.

Job Specifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Creative Media, Web Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. A portfolio demonstrating both web layout/coding and graphic design capabilities is mandatory.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in core web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, and AI-powered design tools. Knowledge of WordPress website management is warmly welcomed.
• Work Attributes: Strong initiative, detail-oriented problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently under tight contract deadlines.
