Web Designer & Front-End Developer (Remote, AI-Assisted)

We’re a UK company that helps entrepreneurs launch new service businesses in the UK, United States, Canada and Australia. We set up everything each new business needs, from branding and booking systems to their website.

We launch 10–20 new businesses every month, and every one needs a website that looks premium, loads fast and turns visitors into bookings. We want each site to feel like a high-end brand, not a page-builder template.

The role

You’ll be our in-house web designer and developer: one person who designs and builds every client website, then looks after it after launch. Each client’s logo and brand colours are supplied. You turn them into a modern, animated website the client is proud of, using AI tools to work quickly without lowering the standard.

You’ll work with our development manager. They send you each client brief, share the site with the client for approval, and pass on any changes.

What you’ll do

• Design and build new client websites to the standard of our best sites, adapting layout, copy, imagery and animation to each brand
• Build interactive features such as instant price calculators, service-area maps and animated sections
• Start every new site from a clean base, never by copying a previous client’s site
• Check every site against our launch checklist before it goes to the client: name, phone, email, service areas, booking links, country wording, and mobile layout
• Publish sites to Cloudflare and connect client domains
• Make updates and fixes to live sites, usually within one working day
• Maintain our existing WordPress (Divi) sites until they’re rebuilt

You must have

• A strong eye for modern web design: typography, colour, spacing, motion and mobile-first layouts
• At least 3 live websites you designed and built yourself
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Tailwind CSS, and Astro or Next.js/React
• Animation libraries such as GSAP or Motion
• Daily use of AI tools for design and code, such as Claude Code, Cursor or Midjourney
• Git and GitHub
• WordPress, ideally Divi
• Excellent attention to detail. You check your own work properly before you say it’s done
• Good written English
• Your own laptop and reliable internet, with a backup plan for power or internet outages

Nice to have

• Cloudflare Pages, Netlify or Vercel
• Domains and DNS
• SEO basics
• Experience building websites for local service businesses

Working hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday. You need at least 4 hours’ overlap with UK business hours (9am–5pm UK). That’s roughly 4pm–8pm Philippine time during UK summer time, and 5pm–9pm in winter. The rest of your hours are flexible.
