Compensation & Details

Pay Rate:

• Hourly Rate: $11.5 – $16.5
• Part-time (30 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm PST with a 30-minute lunch break. (The VA needs to choose 6.5 consecutive hours and remain on a consistent schedule)

Part-time Web Designer

The candidate will support the client’s website design projects by building and customizing client websites using existing templates in Duda or similar visual website builders. The candidate will adapt layouts, branding, copy, imagery, and colors to create polished, professional websites that display correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The candidate will also perform basic quality checks, follow established design standards and workflows, and manage multiple website projects while meeting agreed-upon deadlines.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Build client websites using Duda
2. Customize templates with client branding, copy, imagery, colors, and content
3. Make thoughtful design/layout adjustments when needed
4. Ensure sites look great across desktop, tablet, and mobile
5. Perform basic QA before sites are ready for review or launch
6. Work within established Walla processes and brand/design standards
7. Manage multiple website builds and meet agreed-upon turnaround times

Soft Skills / Personality Fit:

• Experience building websites using a visual website builder
• Strong visual/design instincts and attention to detail
• Ability to take an established template and make it feel customized and polished
• Comfortable working independently and following an established process
• Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with platforms such as Duda, Webflow, Wix Studio, Squarespace, WordPress/Elementor, or similar website builders is a plus.
