Web Designer (UI/UX & AI-Assisted Development)

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Web Designer who can create engaging web visuals, thoughtful UI/UX, and interactive experiences—and bring those designs to life on our existing websites.

You should be comfortable taking ownership from concept to implementation, using design tools, front-end skills, and AI-assisted coding tools where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for desktop and mobile.
• Create web animations, motion graphics, micro-interactions, and other dynamic visual elements.
• Improve existing website layouts, navigation, usability, and overall visual consistency.
• Turn designs into working updates on our existing websites, including responsive layouts and interactive components.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to support implementation, troubleshooting, and iteration.
• Check your work across screen sizes and browsers, and resolve visual or interaction issues before publishing.
• Maintain reusable design components and consistent styling across the website.

Requirements

• A portfolio demonstrating strong web design and UI/UX skills.
• Experience with Figma or similar interface design tools.
• Ability to independently implement your designs on an existing website.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to understand and adjust code produced by AI tools.
• Experience creating animations or interactive elements for the web.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and website performance.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to take a task from an initial brief to a working result.

Nice to Have

• Experience with tools such as GSAP, Lottie, Rive, or similar animation libraries.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms or modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience improving user journeys and conversion-focused page designs.

What We Expect

This role includes both design and implementation. You will not be expected to build every website from scratch, but you must be able to apply your own designs to an existing website and ensure they work correctly.

AI-assisted development is welcome. You remain responsible for the quality, responsiveness, and functionality of the final result.
