Web Designer / Website Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Web Designer / Website Administrator to lead the visual and functional aspects of our digital presence. This role combines creative design expertise with technical proficiency to craft engaging, user-friendly websites that align with our brand identity and business goals. Duties

• Develop compelling visual UI/UX designs using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch to create prototypes and wireframes that enhance user interaction.
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure seamless user experiences on desktops, tablets, and smartphones using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and other front-end frameworks.
• Manage website content through content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint while maintaining consistent branding and messaging.
• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in typography design for media, web accessibility standards, and usability testing to improve visibility and user satisfaction.
• Conduct website maintenance tasks including updates, security patches, performance monitoring with Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, and web analytics tools to track user behavior and site metrics.
• Enhance web functionality by integrating web production technologies like PHP, MySQL, Node.js, AJAX, SCSS/LESS stylesheets, and version control systems such as Git.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital marketing campaigns involving email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor to boost engagement.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards in interaction design to make websites usable for all users regardless of ability or device.

Experience

• Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual UI/UX design, motion graphics using Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate, and layout design for media.
• Hands-on experience with web development including front-end coding (HTML5, CSS3), JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), and back-end technologies (PHP, SQL/MySQL).
• Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal along with website management tools like SharePoint or Joomla.
• Knowledge of web analytics platforms including Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to interpret data insights for continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of usability principles combined with experience designing for mobile devices using responsive web design techniques.
• Ability to create prototypes using tools like UXPin or InVision for user research testing before implementation.
• Experience in digital marketing strategies including SEO optimization and email marketing campaigns to increase site traffic and engagement.
• Excellent graphic design skills utilizing software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for logo creation and visual branding elements.
