Web Developer

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and creative Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain a professional website and online platform for our organization.

• Design and develop a modern, responsive, and user-friendly website.
• Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end functionality.
• Create secure user registration, login, and administrative dashboards.
• Integrate forms, databases, email notifications, payment gateways, and other required features.
• Optimize the website for speed, mobile responsiveness, SEO, and accessibility.
• Maintain website security, SSL, backups, and regular software updates.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high website uptime.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services whenever required.
• Work closely with the management team to implement new features and improvements.
• Provide ongoing technical support and website maintenance after launch.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in website development and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web-development technologies.
• Experience with WordPress, PHP, React, Node.js, or similar frameworks/platforms will be preferred.
• Knowledge of databases, hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, and server management.
• Understanding of website security and data protection.
• Experience developing professional, institutional, healthcare, educational, or publishing websites will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics/Search Console is desirable.
• Ability to independently manage a project from development to deployment.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Candidates should be able to share a portfolio or examples of previously developed websites.
