Web Developer

About the Role

WEAREBRAND is looking for a skilled, reliable and autonomous Web Developer capable of managing projects from technical setup through final deployment.

You will work on premium digital experiences for international clients across luxury, hospitality, real estate, technology, ecommerce, sports and lifestyle.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working both with traditional CMS environments such as WordPress and Shopify , as well as modern custom development using React, Next.js and JavaScript/TypeScript .

The ideal candidate understands that our projects are not simply about making websites work — they need to be fast, responsive, visually precise and technically reliable .

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver complete websites from start to finish
• Build projects using WordPress, Shopify, React and Next.js
• Develop custom themes, components, sections and frontend experiences
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate responsive websites
• Develop reusable and scalable React components
• Integrate CMS platforms, APIs, databases and third-party services
• Implement advanced forms, authentication, dashboards and dynamic content where required
• Integrate ecommerce functionality through Shopify / WooCommerce / Stripe
• Develop custom Shopify themes and sections using Liquid
• Create custom WordPress themes and functionality when required
• Implement animations and interactive experiences
• Ensure excellent performance across desktop, tablet and mobile
• Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals, loading speed and technical SEO
• Handle hosting, DNS, domains, deployment and technical configuration
• Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues independently
• Collaborate closely with designers, project managers and creative teams
• Maintain clear project communication and respect agreed timelines

Required Skills

• Strong experience with React
• Strong experience with Next.js
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Strong experience with WordPress
• Strong experience with Shopify
• Experience with PHP
• Experience with Liquid
• Ability to build and customize WordPress and Shopify themes
• Good understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience working with dynamic data and CMS-driven websites
• Understanding of authentication, user roles and protected content
• Strong understanding of responsive development
• Good knowledge of Git / GitHub
• Ability to manage deployment environments
• Experience with hosting platforms such as Vercel, Cloudflare or similar
• Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals
• Ability to work from Figma with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and solve technical problems
• Strong respect for deadlines and project requirements
• Good written communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Payload CMS, Sanity, Strapi or other headless CMS platforms
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase or similar databases
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with Stripe integrations
• Experience with GSAP
• Experience with Three.js / WebGL
• Experience creating scroll-driven and interactive experiences
• Experience with Webflow or Framer
• Experience with Elementor or Gutenberg
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud environments

• Knowledge of accessibility best practices
• Understanding of technical SEO
