Job Description

WeIntern is looking for a motivated and skilled Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of web development fundamentals and a passion for building responsive, user-friendly, and efficient websites and web applications.

This position is suitable for freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are looking to gain practical experience and work on real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Create responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement website features based on project requirements.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services when required.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot web applications.
• Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other developers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Stay updated with current web development technologies and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive web design.
• Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to write clean and structured code.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of React.js or other frontend frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Familiarity with MySQL or MongoDB.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Knowledge of website deployment and hosting.
• Personal, academic, internship, or freelance web development projects.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
