Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Web Developer – Python to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications and websites using Python, as well as supporting server and database operations.

The role requires good knowledge of Python web development, databases, server management, website maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementation of new features and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and websites using Python.
• Design and implement new website features and functionalities based on business requirements.
• Maintain and improve existing web applications to ensure performance, reliability, and usability.
• Handle server configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain application and website databases.
• Develop and maintain database queries, tables, and related database functions.
• Identify and resolve website, application, server, and database-related issues.
• Perform regular updates, improvements, and security-related maintenance.
• Integrate websites and applications with internal systems and third-party services where required.
• Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and loading speed.
• Work with the IT team to ensure proper backup, security, and availability of web applications and databases.
• Test new features and fixes before deployment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain proper technical documentation for applications, databases, and server configurations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
• Stay updated with current web development technologies, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Good knowledge of Python and Python-based web development frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Basic to good knowledge of server management and deployment.
• Understanding of web servers, hosting, domain configuration, and application deployment.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and API integration is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Git/version control systems.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
