*About the Role*

We are looking for a skilled Developer with 2+ years of experience in developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive development, performance optimization, and basic SEO.

*Key Responsibilities*

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and templates.

Develop or modify plugins and integrate third-party APIs.

Work with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Customize page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg.

Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive, cross-browser-compatible websites.

Optimize websites for speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.

Troubleshoot WordPress, theme, plugin, compatibility, and security issues.

Implement basic on-page SEO and follow WordPress security best practices.

Work with cPanel, FTP/SFTP, and MySQL when required.

Collaborate with designers, SEO teams, project managers, and developers.

Maintain clean, reusable, and well-structured code.

*Required Skills*

2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.

Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS and Core.

Good understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience with theme customization, child themes, and plugins.

Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.

Strong understanding of responsive web design.

Knowledge of website performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.

Basic understanding of SEO and MySQL/database management.

Familiarity with Git/version control is a plus.

*Good to Have*

Custom WordPress plugin development.

REST API and third-party API integrations.

WooCommerce experience.

Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Cloudflare.

Website migrations and malware cleanup.

Experience with WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize, or similar tools.

Experience with Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
