About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wordpress Web Developer to join our growing team and take ownership of developing, designing, and maintaining websites across our ventures. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize websites using modern web technologies
• Create responsive, user-friendly websites from design mockups
• Customize and extend WordPress functionality through custom themes and plugins
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices
• Ensure websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and mobile devices
• Manage website hosting environments and troubleshoot technical issues
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry trends

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• 3+ years of professional web development experience. Wordpress desired.
• Strong proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• 3+ years of WordPress expertise: Custom theme development, plugin customization, hooks/filters
• PHP development: Object-oriented programming and WordPress customization
• Database management: MySQL query optimization and database design
• Version control: Git workflow and collaborative development
• Responsive design: Cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first approach

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js or Angular.js)
• Azure cloud platform: Experience with Azure App Services and Apache server configuration
• API integration and RESTful web services
• Performance optimization and caching strategies

Design & SEO Knowledge

• Design collaboration tools: Figma, Framer, Zeplin, or similar
• SEO fundamentals: On-page and technical SEO implementation
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and web accessibility standards

Soft Skills

• Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to code quality and testing
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
