Position Summary

We are seeking a Web Developer to lead a team of three direct reports while contributing hands-on to front-end and back-end development. This role combines team management with responsibility for building, maintaining, and improving websites and web applications that support recruiting, marketing, and business operations.

The ideal candidate has experience with PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Git, along with familiarity with Google Analytics and Facebook marketing. This individual will partner with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, user-friendly digital experiences for job seekers, clients, and employees.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Project Management

• Manage, mentor, and support three direct reports, providing technical direction and ongoing feedback.
• Assign projects, prioritize workloads, and establish timelines to meet business needs.
• Review code for quality, consistency, security, and maintainability.
• Coordinate with IT, marketing, recruiting, and operations to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Maintain development standards, technical documentation, and clear communication on project status.

Front-End and Back-End Development

• Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Build intuitive interfaces that work consistently across desktop and mobile devices.
• Develop and maintain server-side functionality, database connections, and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve website performance, functionality, and reliability.
• Test updates across browsers and devices before deployment.
• Apply secure development practices and support website accessibility.

Version Control and Software Deployment

• Use Git to manage source code, branches, merges, and collaborative development.
• Coordinate software releases and distribute application updates through established deployment processes.
• Maintain organized development, testing, and production workflows.
• Document releases and support rollback procedures when needed.

Analytics and Marketing Support

• Partner with marketing to develop landing pages, online forms, and campaign-related website features.
• Use Google Analytics to help monitor website traffic, user behavior, and conversions.
• Support Facebook marketing initiatives through website updates, campaign landing pages, and tracking integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve user experience and increase applicant and client engagement.
• Troubleshoot website tracking issues in collaboration with marketing stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in front-end and back-end web development.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Experience using Git for version control, collaborative development, and release management.
• Experience leading or supervising a development team, including assigning work, coaching employees, and managing performance.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Facebook marketing tools and concepts.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and API integrations.
• Experience building responsive websites and troubleshooting browser compatibility issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting staffing, recruiting, or other service-based organizations.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking system integrations, job boards, and online application workflows.
• Experience with search engine optimization, conversion tracking, and website performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and campaign tracking.
• Degree in computer science, information technology, web development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
