Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Web Developer at VayuX Systems. The Web Developer intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and internal tools that support cybersecurity research and operations. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end interfaces, building and optimizing back-end services, integrating APIs, and ensuring responsive, accessible, and secure web experiences. The intern will collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to translate technical requirements into functional web solutions, participate in code reviews, and contribute to documentation. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, testing new features, and continuously learning modern web development practices and security-focused design principles.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Web Design to create responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming to build, integrate, and optimize server-side logic and APIs.
• Candidates should possess skills in general Web Development to connect front-end and back-end components and manage end-to-end implementation.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) is beneficial.
• Experience or coursework in server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar), databases, and RESTful services is an advantage.
• Interest in cybersecurity, secure coding practices, and performance optimization is highly valued.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment are important.
• Currently pursuing or having recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
